Tetra Tech's Salt Lake City office is currently looking to hire Archaeological Monitor(s) for an ongoing project covering the Summer of 2017. Responsibilities: Provide technical monitoring assistance to crew crew/field directors during ground disturbing activities. The technical monitor will observe ground disturbance activities for potential cultural resources and report discoveries as outlined in project treatment plan. Position may also include work on other potential cultural resource undertakings, including but not limited to field inventory, evaluative testing, and site mitigation. The work will require travel to the job site within the region. Single occupancy hotel and per diem is provided. WSA, Inc. is currently seeking several experienced archaeological field technicians for intensive survey in Utah starting in mid-May. Field work is expected to continue through June 10th. Field technicians must possess a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology or another applicable field and have experience conducting archaeological surveys. Demonstrated past field experience working with Trimble XT GPS mapping units is preferred. The pay rate is based on individual qualifications and experience. Camping is required; however, a generous per diem will be provided. Work schedule will consist of eight, 10-hour days, five days off, and a final three day session of 10-hour days.
