Tetra Tech's Salt Lake City office is currently looking to hire Archaeological Technicians to become part of our on-call pool for the 2017field season and possibly beyond. As this is an on-call position, local, northern Utah candidates are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance to crew crew/field directors during all potential cultural resource undertakings, including but not limited to field inventory, monitoring, evaluative testing, and site mitigation. Office based report production assistance may also be part of job responsibilities.
The work will require frequent travel throughout the region. Single occupancy hotel and per diem is provided on projects outside of northern Utah.
Qualifications: Must have at least two years of experience assisting in and/or conducting cultural resource management projects in the Great Basin and lntermountain West of the United States including Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, and Colorado. Experience conducting cultural resource construction monitoring and/or holding current MSHA certification is a plus.
Degree Requirements: Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology/Archaeology.
