Integrated Environmental Solutions, LLC is asmall woman-owned business that specializes in providing natural and culturalresource planning services, ecological restoration and revegetation services,and NEPA documentation.  IES is seekingto hire a full-time archeological principal investigator to join our consultingfirm. 


Qualifications:


hold aMaster’s degree that would be able to meet the Secretary of the Interior qualifiedstandards for Archeology;


have aminimum of five years consulting experience at increasing levels ofresponsibility with two of those years within the state of Texas;


displaya thorough understanding of field methodologies utilizing standards andprocedures for obtaining project approval from the Texas Historical Commission orfor Section 106 of the NHPA related projects;


possessa thorough understanding of cultural resources regulations and requirements;


possessknowledge, skills, and abilities pertaining to other cultural resource fieldsoutside their area of expertise;


haveproven experience working independently with little supervision;


displaythe willingness to work long hours under less than desirable weather, topographic,and environmental settings; proven experience coordinating directly with stateand federal agencies;


demonstratedabilities related to client management;


belisted as an author or contributing author for regulatory compliance culturalresources reports;


have aworking knowledge of ArcGIS; and


have avalid driver’s license.


Duties:


This position will require approximately 40 percent fieldwork and 60 percent office related tasks.  Role of the selectedcandidate will include, but not limited to, developing methodologies forcultural resources investigations, conducting and leading field investigations,conducting in-depth background and archival research, preparing agencycoordination letters and technical reports, generating ArcGIS based maps andfigures, and conducting client/agency coordination.
