Architectural Historian

R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc., a cultural resource management firm with a nationwide practice across the preservation disciplines, has an immediate opening for a Secretary of the Interior qualified (36 CFR Part 61, Appendix A) Architectural Historian in our Frederick, Maryland office. Candidates must possess an advanced degree in Architectural History or Historic Preservation. Candidates must possess 3-5 years of experience in the field, applied knowledge of American architectural history, historic preservation law, and have project management experience. Experience with National Register nominations, Section 106 consultation reports, historic structures reports and preservation plans strongly desired. Ability to travel, strong research, and writing and presentation skills, and ability to work collaboratively on inter-disciplinary project teams are essential.
This is a full time, salaried position with full benefits package including health, dental, and life insurance and an excellent 401(k) plan. Salary is competitive and commensurate with educational and professional experience.
