Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. is currently seeking archaeological field technicians for a Phase I archaeological survey in Camden County, Georgia. The project is expected to start July 27 and will last approximately two (2) weeks. A bachelor’s degree in anthropology, attendance in a field school, and prior archaeological survey experience are required. Preference will be given to those applicants with previous field experience in the southeast coastal region. It is imperative that the candidate be able to work 8 hour days in hot weather and a variety of conditions. Stooping, bending, and lifting are essential functions of this position. Snake protection and hard hats will be mandatory and CRA will provide plastic snake gaiters and hard hats. The employee may provide their own snake gaiters if they choose. The work schedule will consist of ten (10) consecutive work days, followed by two (2) days off in between work sessions. The following week will consist of five (5) consecutive work days. Work days will consist of eight (8) hour days and will begin and end at the hotel. Per diem will be $30 per day with double occupancy lodging provided. Per diem and lodging will also be paid on the two (2) off days. Compensation will be based on experience and overtime is likely.
