Job Summary:

As an Archaeologist Technician for KLJ you will be responsible for providing assistances with cultural resource management services for KLJ projects in a timely, accurate, and cost effective manner. It is essential that this individual utilizes effective written and oral communication skills and is compliant with KLJ quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·         May begin to assist with Federal and State Agency coordination

·         Assist with pedestrian inventory, site testing and reports

·         Provide project correspondence, records and field notes

·         Completion of site forms

·         Participate in meetings

 

Requirements:

·         Either have a four year degree or be working towards a four year degree in anthropology, archaeology, history or a related field

·         Must have completed an archaeological Field School

·         Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate motorized vehicles

 

Preferences:

·         GIS background is desired
