Remember, meetings like the SAA's are great for in person interviews!

Post on ShovelBums now to let professionals know you are open to face to face interviews(*) at the SAA's this week!

(*) Well except maybe the company from out west who was getting a resume from a prospect at the last SAA CRM expo while I was standing at their booth and they were telling the applicant they never use ShovelBums (might have had something to do with my hygiene, they did not elaborate) ;-) And of course they are welcome to still use ShovelBums! And it sure did make me feel kinda special, and all warm and fuzzy getting ShovelBums talked about in front of me and them not knowing I am ShovelBums, even if they were complaining! LOL

I operate ShovelBums in a bit of a vacuum so it was nice to know they were at least aware of ShovelBums ;-). On the positive side twice in the next half hour two completely unrelated people I had never met called me a "folk hero", which had never happened before or since. So it was nice to know it's not just smack that people talk about ShovelBums (or maybe they are just polite if they read my name tag).

Best,

R. Joe
