[ShovelBums.Org] Seeking an on-call Archaeologist in Atlanta, GA

TriLeaf Corporation is seeking an experienced, SOI-Qualified Archaeologist, in the Atlanta area, to complete Phase I telecommunication projects. This position is on-call with the possibility for full time employment, pending client need and quality of work.
Minimum Requirements:
· M.A. or M.S. in Archaeology or Anthropology
· Previous telecom experience
· Provide own equipment
· Ability to work in the field independently
· Ability to meet strict deadlines
· Ability to compile Cultural Resource Reports
· Experience with 620/621 form preparation
· Excellent research shills
· Willingness to travel within a 300-mile radius
· Valid driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation

Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous field experience in the Southeast
· 2 years of relevant work experience
· Applied knowledge of section 106 of the NHPA
· SOI-Qualified in Architectural History
Archaeologist Responsibilities:
· Conduct SHPO file reviews/background research
· Perform unsupervised Phase I surveys within strict deadlines
· Write Cultural Resource Reports
· Work with Architectural Historian when necessary
· Form 620/621 completion
· Take clear and detailed field notes and photographs
· Work with remote staff regarding projects, scheduling, and data exchange
