We are seeking an entry-level environmental professional for a full-time position. Working with the project team in our Berkeley office, the Coordination Associate will be responsible for project coordination of a number of short projects each week. Work includes processing incoming work, tracking and coordinating on-going work, and completing projects in a timely manner.
�· Undergraduate degree in a field related to environmental planning, biological resources, or cultural resources
�· Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with ArcGIS
�· Ability to work with a team under pressure with short deadlines
�· Effective communication skills (writing, email, and telephone)
�· Accuracy and dependability
PREFERRED:
�· A year of full-time professional experience in environmental resources
�· Familiarity with typical electrical utility operations and maintenance activities
The position is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, and eligible for full benefits. Compensation will be based on qualifications, proficiencies, level of education, and years of experience. When overtime work is required, employee will be compensated with overtime pay in accordance with California law. We anticipate that employment will begin in April 2016. Employment offers will be contingent on the candidate passing a pre-employment and annual drug and alcohol screening.
