Seeking Qualified Archaeological Management Staff
Kautz Environmental Consultants, Inc., (KEC) of Reno, Nevada, is currently accepting applications for a staff archaeologist position. Qualified applicants must have an advanced degree, and the ability to perform both field and writing tasks. Preferred candidates will have Great Basin and California experience, and will be able to demonstrate experience in contributing to CRM reports. KEC is seeking professional archaeological candidates who are team-oriented, but also able to work independently. Physical requirements for the position include the ability to stand, bend, and kneel for long periods of time, lift at least 50 lbs., and hike 10+ miles per day in rough terrain and weather conditions. A clean driving record is required. KEC has a zero tolerance drug policy. Drug testing will be required. Kautz Environmental Consultants, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Field projects may be local to Reno, or out-of-town. Lodging and meal allowance are provided only for projects that are not local to Reno.
